Senior Training Specialist
Summary
Zara (Inditex US & Puerto Rico) is an international fashion brand operating in major cities and online. The Senior Training Specialist leads the execution and continuous improvement of learning and development programs for retail and corporate teams, partnering closely with HR and business stakeholders. The role focuses on delivering impactful training, managing learning operations, and supporting internal growth aligned with business priorities and values.
What you'll do
Collaborate with Training & Development and HR partners to design, update, and localize training programs, workshops, and learning materials for retail and corporate audiences.
Research and recommend innovative learning methodologies, digital tools, and best practices.
Co-facilitate in-person and virtual workshops, onboarding sessions, and leadership development programs.
Manage relationships with external training vendors and consultants to ensure quality and consistency.
Support DEI partners to deliver inclusive learning experiences.
Conduct training needs assessments using surveys, interviews, and data analysis.
Collect and analyze feedback, measure program effectiveness, and identify improvement opportunities.
Prepare regular reports on learning outcomes, participation, and impact.
Administer the LMS (course uploads, user management, troubleshooting) and generate usage/completion reports.
Track training completion, maintain accurate records, and support budget/resource tracking for training initiatives.
Assist with annual talent reviews, succession planning, and career development campaigns for store teams.
Maintain resources that support internal mobility and coach employees on learning paths and career opportunities.
Communicate program schedules, updates, and outcomes; represent training in cross-functional meetings and projects.
Requirements
5–7 years of experience in learning & development, talent management, or HR (ideally in retail and/or corporate environments).
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business, or related field (instructional design or facilitation certifications are a plus).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience facilitating training for diverse audiences in both in-person and virtual settings.
Ability to collect, interpret, and report on training data and feedback.
Strong organizational and project management skills; ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to engage and influence at all levels.
Adaptable and proactive; comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
