Summary
Kansas Office of Judicial Administration is hiring a Trial Court Clerk II for the 13th Judicial District. The role supports court operations by processing and maintaining case records and assisting judges, attorneys, agencies, and the public.
What you'll do
- Receive, docket, and process court cases.
- File, record, and image pleadings and related documents.
- Issue process as required.
- Maintain court calendars and scheduling information.
- Maintain permanent court files and records.
- Provide information and assistance to judges, attorneys, law enforcement and other government agencies, and the public (phone and in person).
- Perform other related duties as assigned under the supervision of the Clerk of the District Court.
Requirements
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: One year of office clerical experience (may be substituted by 30 semester hours of coursework at an accredited two- or four-year college or university).
Skills: Ability to follow oral and written instructions; typing skills; good communication; organized and self-motivated; ability to work well with the public.
Preferred: Knowledge of court procedures and policies; computer experience with Windows 10, FullCourt, Tyler Odyssey, and Microsoft Office; legal clerical, paralegal, or court-related experience.
Conditions
Pay: $18.57 hourly (Trial Court Clerk II, Grade 18).
