Middle 2D Animator (iGaming)

OptiPlay is seeking a Middle 2D Animator to create engaging animations for iGaming slot titles. You will transform static art into high-impact gaming experiences using Spine 2D and After Effects, collaborating with Art Directors to define motion language and optimize assets for game engines.

• Create fluid character animations, dynamic backgrounds, and eye-catching VFX for slot games
• Perform high-quality rigging and animation in Spine 2D and motion graphics in After Effects
• Collaborate with Art Directors to develop visual style and motion language for new game themes
• Prepare and optimize animations for seamless integration into game engines with performance consideration
• Enhance player engagement through polished animations and juicy feedback effects

• 2+ years of experience in 2D game animation (Slot Games experience preferred)
• 1+ year of professional hands-on experience with Spine 2D (rigging, meshes, weights)
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects for VFX and compositing
• Proficiency in Photoshop for asset preparation
• Understanding of atlas optimization, draw calls, and technical constraints of web/mobile platforms
• Strong portfolio with character acting and polished FX demonstrations
• English B1 (Intermediate) level for team collaboration
