Project Coordinator
Summary
Mulberry Talent Partners has partnered with a growing historical preservation organization to hire a Project Coordinator in NE Portland. This new role supports the Operations team and Accounting Manager by coordinating project setup, logistics, and accounting-related administrative processes to keep projects compliant and on track.
What you'll do
- Set up projects, review invoices, manage project filing, and conduct client and vendor outreach under the Operations Manager.
- Support accounting functions under the Accounting Manager including timesheet review and payroll processing, invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliation, financial reporting, data entry, file maintenance, and correspondence.
- Coordinate project logistics under the Scheduling Manager by working with field staff on equipment needs, arranging accommodations and rentals, and coordinating per diem handoffs and adjustments.
- Maintain detailed project logs, records, and reports to document progress and ensure compliance with project plans, permits, and schedules, including reviewing vehicle logs and submitting utility locates.
Requirements
BA/BS with emphasis in Accounting or Finance (highly desired).
2+ years of project coordination and support experience.
1+ year of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) experience.
Ability to manage multiple tasks from multiple sources, prioritize correctly, and meet deadlines.
Extreme attention to detail with strong editing and proofing skills.
Intermediate Excel experience.
Conditions
Direct-hire, on-site role in NE Portland, OR.
Schedule: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.
Pay: $27–$32/hour plus benefits.
