DBA (Postgres)

ARRISE is a global iGaming service delivery company with over 6,000 professionals across multiple continents. We are seeking a Database Administrator (Postgres) to support our PostgreSQL database systems and contribute to strategic database development goals.

• Create and implement fully functional PostgreSQL database clusters in AWS RDS and on-premises environments
• Maintain and support multiple development, QA, and production PostgreSQL environments
• Perform performance tuning, debugging, and optimization of database systems
• Review existing configurations and provide design recommendations for platform improvements
• Assist in planning and executing PostgreSQL database upgrades and migrations
• Provide production-level support and participate in on-call rotation
• Define best practices and introduce automation for database administration
• Collaborate with end users, managers, clients, and stakeholders on strategic database goals
• Independently analyze, solve, and correct real-time issues with end-to-end problem resolution

• 4 or more years of PostgreSQL database maintenance and administration experience
• Experience with SQL Server and/or Oracle database administration (preferred)
• Strong writing and verbal communication skills
• Excellent collaborative skills with cross-functional teams
• Proficiency with Linux operating systems - Ubuntu and RHEL
• Knowledge of AWS RDS and cloud database management
• Experience with database performance tuning and optimization
