Summary
CHI Software is seeking a Strong Junior/Middle Data Engineer to join their managed service team in the automotive industry. The role focuses on hands-on implementation of modern data products under defined standards and senior guidance, with emphasis on building quality data solutions and ensuring compliance with established frameworks.
What you'll do
- Implement pipelines and data transformations
- Build analytical and source-aligned data products
- Follow established standards including data contracts, modeling patterns, and testing strategies
- Work in cross-functional domain teams
- Participate in pair-programming and knowledge transfer activities
- Support monitoring and operational excellence of delivered data products
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in Data Engineering
- Previous assignments delivering pipelines and data products
- Experience with AWS, Azure, Snowflake, dbt, Witboost, and Dreamio
- Proficiency with modern ELT/ETL practices
- Experience with CI/CD in data environments
- Knowledge of automated testing for data pipelines
- Familiarity with Data Mesh concepts
- Basic understanding of DataOps
- Understanding of governance, lineage, and SLAs
- Comfortable working in Agile cross-functional teams
