Middle/Senior DevOps Engineer (Bare-metal)

NextChallenge seeks a Middle/Senior DevOps Engineer to develop, monitor and support self-managed infrastructure running on bare-metal servers and virtual machines. This is an ideal role for someone with a strong growth mindset passionate about enhancing infrastructure and eager to influence multiple project lifecycle stages.

• Develop, monitor and support project infrastructure
• Build and improve CI/CD processes
• Collaborate with developers on software requirements and architecture
• Incident mitigation, evasion and postmortem investigation

Required Experience:

• 3+ years as a DevOps or similar role
• Infrastructure management: Ansible, Terraform, Linux, Windows Server (optional), Kubernetes, Nginx, HAproxy, Consul
• Database experience: MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis
• Hands-on experience with Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes
• CI/CD expertise: Jenkins/Groovy
• Scripting languages: Python, Bash or similar
• Logging and monitoring: ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana or similar
• Strong debugging and analytics skills
• Networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS, CDN, SSL, Firewalls, VPNs, subnets
• Upper-intermediate English proficiency
