The Manager, Employee Experience sets the enterprise direction for engagement, connection, and belonging by translating business, brand, and talent priorities into a cohesive experience strategy. What you'll do
Set enterprise direction for engagement and experience strategy aligned to organizational priorities, leadership expectations, and healthcare operational realities.
Define and oversee a portfolio of signature enterprise and leadership experiences and events that strengthen connection, alignment, and leadership community.
Define and lead the enterprise listening strategy (surveys and feedback channels) and translate insights into actions that improve engagement, culture, and teammate experience.
Design and evolve recognition programs that reinforce organizational values and celebrate milestones to strengthen appreciation and culture.
Partner with clinical and enterprise leaders to ensure engagement/experience efforts reflect business needs, constraints, and operating context.
Integrate engagement, listening, belonging, and experience efforts into a cohesive enterprise approach.
Translate organizational priorities and listening insights into clear focus areas that guide investment of time and resources.
Establish priorities and success measures to keep initiatives focused, credible, and aligned to business realities.
Collaborate with Talent Management, Leadership Development, Communications, and Strategy to ensure consistency across initiatives.
Provide strategic direction and guardrails for engagement and belonging initiatives executed by senior individual contributors and program partners.
Continuously assess and refine strategy and experience investments for relevance, scalability, and sustained impact.
Lead and manage employees through coaching, training, time management support, evaluations, and regular meetings with direct reports.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required (or equivalent experience); advanced degree preferred.
7+ years of experience in engagement, organizational effectiveness, leadership programs, or related fields.
Proven experience leading enterprise engagement/experience or organizational effectiveness work in complex, matrixed organizations.
Experience designing leadership or enterprise experiences/events that drive connection, alignment, and culture.
Hands-on experience designing and stewarding enterprise listening strategies, including surveys, qualitative feedback, and synthesis into actionable priorities.
Ability to balance strategic intent with operational reality; strong judgment.
Comfort operating where engagement work must demonstrate value and earn credibility.
Ability to influence senior leaders without direct authority.
Strong collaboration, communication, and integration skills.
Preferred: experience in healthcare, provider services, or similarly regulated and operational environments.
Experience partnering with brand, communications, or culture teams to align experiences with organizational identity and values.
Experience creating scalable experiences across diverse populations, including frontline/clinical teams and indirect patient care functions.
Strong pattern-recognition skills to identify themes across data sources and recommend leadership focus areas.
