Helper (All Classes) - New Construction

Lexicon, Inc. is hiring a Helper (All Classes) to support craft workers on new construction or maintenance projects. The role focuses on assisting with equipment setup, material handling, and maintaining a safe, organized worksite while gaining hands-on construction experience.

• Assist in the setup of equipment either by hand or machine.
• Load, transport, unload, and furnish craft workers with materials, tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Clean work areas and restock supplies and materials as needed.
• Assist in lifting, positioning, and securing journeyman’s tools and equipment.
• Follow company Safety and QA/QC programs and comply with OSHA rules and regulations.
• Maintain regular, punctual attendance and work overtime as needed.

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent (required).

• Experience: Previous on-the-job training on a construction site (required).

• Skills: Ability to use hand tools related to assigned tasks/craft (required).

• Physical: Frequently lift more than 50 pounds; climb ladders/stairs/scaffolds while carrying tools; stand/walk for long periods; tolerate temperature fluctuations, loud noise, dust, and high-voltage electromagnetic fields; perform repetitive tasks per set procedures.

• Safety: Role is safety sensitive; must proactively uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards.

• Pay: $22-$24/hour, paid weekly.

• Schedule: Overtime may be required; regular, punctual attendance required.
