Principal - Love Elementary - (1.0 FTE) 2026/27 SY

Alameda Unified School District is seeking a Principal for Love Elementary (1.0 FTE) for the 2026/27 school year. The role leads school operations and the educational program to ensure an effective, inclusive learning climate and support student achievement aligned to the district’s equity and excellence values.

• Administer the operation of the school and supervise the school’s educational program.
• Establish and maintain an effective learning climate.
• Provide leadership in adapting educational programs to meet community needs.
• Develop, administer, and coordinate ancillary programs that enhance student learning opportunities.
• Direct activities of school staff and oversee performance of duties.
• Evaluate performance of assigned personnel.
• Establish guidelines for student conduct and discipline procedures.
• Assume responsibility for student health, welfare, and attendance.
• Coordinate or supervise support services necessary to administer effective programs.
• Promote and encourage professional growth of self and staff.
• Perform other related tasks as requested by the Superintendent.

• Valid California Administrative Credential.
• Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of management, supervisory, or administrative experience.
• Master’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Ability to provide leadership, supervision, and administrative skills to manage an assigned K-5 school and promote educational development of each student.

• Full-time (1.0 FTE) for the 2026/27 school year.
• Work year: 206 days.
• Role: Principal, K-5.
