Junior Art Director

Raindrop is a creative agency that helps brands grow through standout marketing and high-quality creative execution. The Junior Art Director will bring concepts to life across photo and video, shaping visual direction from initial idea through final deliverables. The role partners closely with Copy, Social, and Production to ensure creative work meets client goals and craft standards.

• Contribute to concepting and visual direction across projects
• Help define tone, look & feel, and overall aesthetic direction
• Support wardrobe, set design, and styling decisions
• Partner with Copy to create decks and pitch ideas to clients
• Translate ideas into mood boards and presentations
• Incorporate feedback from Creative Directors (CDs) and Associate Creative Directors (ACDs) to refine work
• Help ensure creative deliverables meet high standards and align with client goals
• Bring fresh thinking and strong design instincts to each brief
• Identify production design needs and collaborate with producers
• Assist with set design, builds, backdrops, props, and product styling
• Work with photographers to concept and execute photo campaigns
• Support shoot days by helping set up, style, and keep production running smoothly

• 1–2 years of art direction experience
• Design background
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
• Experience with Figma or FigJam
• Basic understanding of cinematography and photography
• Ability to present information consistently and accurately, with keen attention to detail
• Ability to move over 30 pounds for set dressing and on-set days
• Must be able to work in-person at the San Diego Production Studio
• Agency experience is a plus
