Director of Operations

Essig Family McDonald's is a third-generation, family-owned organization operating 37 McDonald's locations across two states. The Director of Operations will lead and oversee multi-unit restaurant operations in the Kansas City Metropolitan Area to improve performance, profitability, and customer experience.

• Lead and oversee day-to-day operations across multiple restaurant locations in the Kansas City Metropolitan Area
• Optimize operational processes and ensure high performance standards across all assigned locations
• Implement operational strategies to drive business growth and profitability
• Maintain customer service excellence and operational execution consistency
• Manage budgets and financial performance for the area/locations under leadership
• Develop, coach, and hold leaders accountable; build team capability and performance
• Use data and analytics to identify issues, set priorities, and translate insights into clear actions

• McDonald's experience strongly preferred
• Demonstrated success leading leaders in multi-unit operations
• Proven ability to drive business growth and improve operational performance through disciplined execution
• Strong financial and analytical capabilities; ability to translate data into actionable plans
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, coaching, and accountability skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while staying outcome-focused
• Multi-unit leadership experience in restaurant or retail industry preferred
• Bachelor's degree in business, hospitality management, or related field preferred
