Summary
Telementum Global is a holding company for leading mobile accessories brands including Speck Products, Tech21, and Alphacomm. The Packaging Designer will create visual and structural packaging that aligns with brand guidelines, supports product launches, and meets legal, environmental, and production requirements. This role partners closely with marketing and cross-functional teams to deliver compelling, shelf-ready packaging.
What you'll do
Design innovative packaging solutions that engage consumers and improve shelf visibility.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product development, engineering) to ensure design feasibility and brand alignment.
Adapt and extend existing packaging systems for new product launches while maintaining brand integrity and quality standards.
Prepare accurate print-ready artwork and coordinate with external vendors to ensure high-quality production output.
Monitor industry trends, packaging technologies, and consumer preferences to continuously improve packaging strategies.
Manage projects to meet timelines and budgets, handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
5+ years of packaging design experience (preferred: consumer electronics or accessories).
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat) and Sketch or other design tools.
Strong understanding of print processes and packaging materials; ability to produce production-ready artwork.
Excellent color perception, typography, layout skills, and strong attention to detail.
Knowledge of structural design principles and die-line creation for custom packaging.
Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and collaborate across teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field preferred.
Strong portfolio demonstrating packaging design work.
