Director of Operations

Summary

Holganix manufactures and distributes microbial soil solutions to farmers and landscapers across North America. The Director of Operations will lead day-to-day operational performance across production, logistics, supply chain, and quality control while scaling the company efficiently.

What you'll do

Lead planning and execution of operations including production, warehousing, and logistics. Develop operational strategies for scalability and cost efficiency. Oversee manufacturing processes and quality control systems. Manage supplier relationships, inventory, and material purchasing. Optimize distribution and logistics processes. Lead, mentor, and develop operations teams. Use data and KPIs to identify improvement opportunities. Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Production, or related field (Master's preferred). 7-10+ years of operations leadership experience in manufacturing, agriculture, biotech, or related industry. Strong understanding of supply chain, logistics, production, and quality control. Proven track record of building and scaling operational systems. Experience managing budgets and vendor relationships. Exceptional leadership and team development skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and project management skills.
