Full Stack Engineer

Genius Match is seeking an exceptional Full Stack Engineer for a USA-based innovative software product start-up building a state-of-the-art platform that delivers authoritative bid intelligence to government contracting clients. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on technical excellence, perfect for someone who wants to shape the technical direction while remaining deeply involved in coding.

• Drive the technical architecture and development of the platform from beta to production deployment
• Write high-quality, maintainable code across the full technology stack daily
• Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS services
• Make strategic technical decisions that balance innovation, scalability, and time-to-market
• Manage project timelines, set realistic deliverable expectations, and communicate technical challenges proactively
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Establish development best practices, code standards, and quality assurance processes
• Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance platform functionality

• Strong experience in professional software engineering
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and architecture
• Proven track record of taking projects from initial concept through successful production deployment
• Strong expertise in managing stakeholder expectations and communicating technical trade-offs
• Demonstrated ability to identify and address technical challenges early
• Balance of strategic architectural thinking and passion for hands-on coding
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a small team environment
• Advanced English proficiency
• Experience with Node.js, TypeScript, Python, Go, CSS, and Cursor IDE
• Proficiency with AWS services: RDS, ECR/ECS, Bedrock, EC2, Lambda, Step Functions, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, WAF, SES, Secrets Manager, Route 53, S3, and Cognito
• Experience with GitHub, PGAdmin, Stripe, SendGrid, Google Analytics, and API integrations (SAM.gov, USAspending.gov)

• Must be able to work until 1 pm EST time zone (8 pm Kyiv time)
