Full stack Node.is Team Lead

AppReal is seeking a Full Stack Node.js Team Lead to join an innovative technology company's global R&D department in Poland. The company is led by data scientists and engineers developing proprietary ad platforms powered by machine learning.

• Design, code, and manage large scale, highly available, real-time services using Node.js, React, Redis, Kubernetes, and AWS
• Lead and mentor a team of around 4 members and perform code reviews
• Collaborate with Executive, Product, Data, and Design teams to develop optimal solutions
• Design and develop APIs or integrate with 3rd party APIs
• Manage time-efficient sprint planning and groom upcoming sprints with Product team
• Implement security and data protection needs and provide creative solutions for various problems

• 7+ years of coding experience in Backend (NodeJS preferred) and Frontend (React, Vue, or Angular)
• 3+ years of management experience
• Working knowledge with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience with cloud providers: AWS, Google, or Microsoft
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Knowledge of software life cycle and agile environments
• Can-do attitude, self-sufficient, capable of learning independently, and good English
• Bonus: Experience with offshore contractors, web-based SaaS systems, and Big Data
