Cybersecurity Testing Team Lead

PIN-UP Global is seeking a Cybersecurity Testing Team Lead to lead their Offensive Security team. The role combines hands-on penetration testing expertise with technical leadership responsibilities, overseeing team growth, security operations, and quality standards across web, API, mobile, and cloud security testing.

• Lead and grow the Offensive Security team (pentest/red team)
• Define roles, expectations, and competency levels
• Mentor team members and conduct technical reviews
• Own capacity planning and prioritization
• Own the pentest intake process (Jira-based)
• Ensure consistent coverage for Web/API/Mobile and Cloud/Infra testing
• Enforce quality standards for test depth, reports, risk assessment, and retesting
• Ensure findings are exploitable, reproducible, and actionable
• Minimize false positives and clearly communicate risk

Required:

• 5+ years in offensive security/penetration testing
• 2+ years in a technical leadership role (team lead/principal/tech lead)
• Web, API, Mobile (iOS/Android) pentesting experience
• Secure code review (at least one backend language)
• Cloud & infrastructure security testing
• Proven experience working with product teams, not only 'report delivery'

Preferred:

• Advanced Offense capabilities
• Red Team/Purple Team experience
• Adversary emulation (MITRE ATT&CK)
• Threat modeling from an attackers perspective
• Experience with exploit development or advanced bypass techniques
• AWS expertise
• Kubernetes security testing
• CI/CD attack vectors
• Secrets, identity, and supply chain attacks
