Java Developer Intern

Luxoft is seeking a Java Developer Intern to join their team working on a leading software system in the Energy domain for Oil & Gas production. The role involves learning technologies, exploring the codebase, and contributing to project tasks while working with a senior, supportive team in close cooperation with customers in Houston.

• Learn technologies used on the project including Java 11, Cloud, and GPU computing
• Explore and understand the existing codebase
• Start performing project tasks related to geological data research, visualization, and interpretation
• Collaborate with the Customer team located in Houston
• Follow Agile principles in daily work

• Strong Java Core knowledge
• Understanding of Algorithms: sorting and optimization
• Upper-Intermediate English language proficiency

This is a long-term, stable project with a senior, supportive, and friendly team environment. Work involves close cooperation with the Customer team and follows Agile principles.
