HR Leader
Summary
Wowza Media Systems is a Colorado-based global leader in video streaming software powering live and on-demand experiences worldwide. The HR Leader will own end-to-end day-to-day HR for ~90–100 global employees, ensuring a consistent employee experience, compliance, benefits administration, and scalable performance and engagement systems. This role partners closely with leadership as the primary point of contact for HR operations.
What you'll do
Serve as the primary HR contact for employee support and guidance.
Own and improve onboarding and offboarding workflows to ensure consistency and compliance.
Maintain employee records, documentation, and HR policies; standardize HR processes.
Own HR compliance across federal, state, and local requirements; manage documentation, audits, and required reporting in Rippling.
Partner with leadership and legal counsel on employee relations matters; ensure consistent handling of issues and investigations.
Administer benefits programs; improve benefits communication and enrollment; partner with brokers/vendors to optimize plans and costs.
Build and manage a lightweight performance management cadence; drive adoption of goal-setting and performance tracking tools in Rippling.
Implement employee engagement measurement; drive recognition programs and internal communication cadence; support culture initiatives aligned with company values.
Own HRIS administration (Rippling) and provide monthly people metrics updates to leadership, including wins, risks, and decisions needed.
Track HR operational metrics and recommend improvements; manage salary updates in the system (raises, promotions, compensation changes).
Requirements
Experience owning end-to-end HR operations and employee lifecycle processes for a growing organization.
Knowledge of HR compliance across federal, state, and local requirements, including audits and reporting.
Benefits administration experience, including working with brokers/vendors and improving enrollment/communications.
Ability to build and run performance management and engagement programs at scale.
HRIS administration and reporting experience; familiarity with Rippling.
Strong partnership skills with leadership and ability to handle employee relations matters consistently.
Conditions
Onsite requirement: 2–3 days per week in the Lakewood office.
Salary range: $120,000–$140,000 per year.
