Senior SONiC CI/CD and Test Automation Engineer

Jabil is seeking a Senior SONiC CI/CD and Test Automation Engineer with 7-8+ years of experience to develop and maintain complex networking systems. The role focuses on building CI/CD pipelines, automation testing, and ensuring compliance for SONiC networking OS across various topologies.

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for SONiC labs to run community tests
• Develop and execute SONiC/SAI compliance testing for various network topologies
• Create and maintain automated data path tests for network devices using Python/Pytest
• Participate in firmware/software development for networking devices using C/C++
• Perform software/hardware bring-up and integration of networking devices
• Design and implement test automation frameworks and infrastructure
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and performance

• Minimum 7-8 years of commercial software engineering experience
• Advanced proficiency in C/C++ and Python programming
• Deep experience with SONiC Networking OS and SAI compliance testing
• Strong background in network automation and CI/CD pipeline development
• Experience with Jenkins, Pytest, Scapy, traffic generators, and analysers
• Solid understanding of L2/L3 protocols, routing, forwarding, and switching
• Knowledge of BGP, OSPF, RIP, IS-IS, and LACP
• Experience with peripherals and buses (I2C, PCI-E, etc.)
• Git/GitHub version control proficiency
• Preferred: Linux/embedded systems knowledge

Work effectively in a collaborative environment with complex technical systems. Experience working on data path automation and network device testing required. Strong problem-solving skills essential.
