General QA engineer (Security domain)

DevBrother is seeking a motivated General QA Engineer to join their security product team. The role focuses on building robust test automation using Cypress while leveraging RainforestQA for comprehensive coverage across Web and Desktop platforms (macOS & Windows).

• Build and maintain scalable end-to-end test suites using Cypress with JavaScript/TypeScript
• Manage and execute testing workflows within RainforestQA, ensuring manual and automated scripts are optimized
• Perform thorough testing across Web and Desktop applications (macOS & Windows)
• Create and execute detailed test plans and cases evaluating security, privacy features, and usability
• Collaborate with developers to identify, document, and track defects
• Monitor and report on quality metrics including test coverage and results
• Adapt quickly to changing priorities within a fast-paced Agile environment

• 2-5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, software testing, or related role
• Proven experience writing and maintaining automated tests with Cypress and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Familiarity with RainforestQA or strong desire to master it
• Experience testing Desktop applications (macOS and Windows) and Web/Mobile SaaS products
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, best practices, and SDLC
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher with clear technical communication abilities
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in collaborative teams
