Education Specialist- Remote
Summary
Moses/Weitzman Health System (Weitzman Institute) is seeking an Education Specialist to project-manage and support education interventions across health professions, continuing education, and system transformation. The role partners with faculty and multiple stakeholder groups to design, implement, and evaluate learning programs delivered virtually and in-person. The purpose is to improve and scale education initiatives for providers, learners, and healthcare organizations serving diverse and underserved communities.
What you'll do
Project manage multiple education interventions (e.g., ECHO, learning collaboratives, webinars, technical assistance, consultations) from planning through implementation and evaluation.
Conduct needs analysis and support development/design of didactics and educational materials with faculty.
Arrange and maintain sessions; provide clerical, organizational, and technical support to participants and faculty.
Recruit and support participant and organization enrollment; track admissions, enrollment, and graduation.
Record and maintain program data (attendance, schedules, case presentations, recordings, evaluation surveys) using web-based/software tools.
Administer surveys; support data collection, analysis, and reporting for continuous program improvement.
Onboard new learners, including technology tests and ongoing technical support.
Develop presentations for conferences and other venues; may attend conferences to exhibit, present, and/or teach.
Coordinate cross-initiative work and support development of new programs (e.g., onboarding new faculty, creating case forms, marketing materials).
Organize faculty communications, facilitate faculty meetings, and support curriculum planning and continual improvement activities.
Support grant development and reporting (write sections, coordinate letters of support, proofread, manage deliverable timelines) and create operational reports for funders.
Create or assist with marketing content in collaboration with Communications (eBlasts, newsletters, printed collateral, and updating webpages).
Support accreditation efforts and maintain confidentiality in accordance with organizational policies.
Perform other duties as assigned while remaining responsive and adaptable to change.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (preferred in a health-related field).
1–3 years of work experience (preferred in a health-related field and/or project support).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet-related applications; experience with survey software and database software.
Ability to implement detailed project plans and coordinate communication among contributors and stakeholders while delivering on time, budget, and objectives.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, time management, prioritization, and ability to multi-task.
Excellent written and oral communication skills; strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cooperatively with diverse teams and partners.
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, solve problems, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience leveraging technology and business partners to deliver content.
Current driver’s license and ability to travel in and out of state.
