Infrastructure Security Engineer

Wallet in Telegram is a digital asset solution embedded in Telegram's interface with 100M+ user accounts. The role is an Infrastructure Security Engineer focused on strengthening the security of infrastructure and production environment across networking, Linux hosts, Docker and Kubernetes.

• Improve security posture of infrastructure, including self-managed Kubernetes and critical Linux hosts
• Establish and maintain secure access patterns for production (bastion-based access, least privilege, auditing)
• Build and maintain an infrastructure vulnerability management approach (inventory, prioritization, remediation tracking)
• Support security controls around container and cluster operations (policies/guardrails, configuration reviews)
• Collaborate with teams to embed security requirements into infrastructure changes and delivery workflows

• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals
• Solid Linux skills with practical experience in Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (GitLab, Ansible, Terraform)
• Scripting skills in Shell and Python
