Director, Regional Operations
Summary
Brightline is a pediatric, teen, and parental mental health therapy and psychiatry practice delivering virtual and in-person outpatient care. The Director, Regional Operations will lead operational and financial performance for the New York market (currently four clinics, with potential to expand), partnering closely with the Regional Clinical Director to drive consistent execution and growth.
What you'll do
Own regional P&L performance and drive clinic- and region-level operational and financial targets in partnership with the Regional Clinical Director.
Manage regional, clinic, and provider-level reporting; use data and workflow observation to identify and execute performance improvement and optimization opportunities.
Contribute to corporate operating methods and evaluation criteria; resolve complex, ambiguous operational problems.
Own and improve patient experience by leveraging feedback and incident reports to enhance how families experience care.
Directly manage Clinic Coordinators across clinics in the assigned region.
Set regional strategy and collaborate cross-functionally to execute initiatives that achieve regional goals.
Ensure designed standards and workflows are executed in practice; feed qualitative insights to Care Operations and help iterate best practices.
Launch and execute new centrally driven or regionally driven initiatives to improve daily operations.
Develop staff retention, culture-building, professional development, and workforce planning strategies.
Manage provider templates and schedules across the region, accounting for provider nuances.
Oversee facilities operations, site issues, and operational constraints affecting clinics.
Support on-the-ground execution for local expansion and new clinic openings.
Build trust and collaboration between senior leadership and regional/clinic teams; harmonize stakeholder views to drive results.
In collaboration with the Growth team, manage performance and relationships with key regional external partners (e.g., NYU).
Requirements
8+ years of professional experience, including 3+ years leading multi-site brick-and-mortar or hybrid healthcare delivery operations.
Demonstrated ability to build cohesive teams, optimize operations, and deliver sustainable business results.
Deep understanding of behavioral and mental health; innovative mindset to deliver differentiated offerings.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills; comfortable in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Experience in a high-growth, venture-backed environment (strongly preferred).
Must be located in New York and willing to spend approximately 50% of time in-clinic.
MBA preferred but not required.

Compensation note: geo-based compensation with cash salary, equity, and benefits; annual base salary range stated as $170,000–$200,000.
