Seasonal Farm Attendant

Silo Ridge Field Club (Discovery Land Company) is seeking a Seasonal Farm Attendant to join the Farm & Garden Department in Amenia, New York. The role blends organic farm work with hospitality, supporting vegetable and flower production while delivering an excellent experience for members.

• Assist with daily farm tasks including vegetable and flower production, maintenance, harvesting, and field work.
• Provide livestock care including feedings and cleaning (goats, chickens, bunnies, bees).
• Clean and stock member-facing areas such as produce and beverage coolers, and harvest/packaging stations.
• Support member outreach by helping host educational workshops for families showcasing the farm.
• Provide excellent service while assisting members’ requests and needs.

• No prior farm experience required; organic cultivation experience is beneficial.
• Extraordinary attention to detail with a focus on quality and service.
• Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude and professional demeanor; ability to remain calm and focused during busy times.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to meet physical demands: work indoors/outdoors; stand/walk/move for more than 4 hours; lift up to 50 lbs.

• Seasonal, full-time: 40 hours per week.
• Dates: April 1 – November 15, 2026.
• Flexible schedule required, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and shifts longer than 8 hours.
