Recruiter (Contract)
Summary
SoFi is a next-generation financial services company and national bank focused on mobile-first technology. The Recruiter (Contract) role supports G&A (non-tech) organizations by sourcing, screening, and hiring top talent while delivering a strong candidate experience. The purpose of the role is to partner with business leaders and the People Team to scale teams during SoFi’s next stage of growth.
What you'll do
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand hiring needs and priorities
- Proactively source and build relationships with senior talent pipelines
- Identify candidates via cold calling, lead generation, internet recruiting, referrals, and social networking
- Manage full-cycle recruiting steps including resume review, phone screens, and coordinating in-person interviews
- Partner with leaders on recruiting plans, strategies, and process improvements
- Advocate for candidates and stakeholders through regular communication and follow-through
- Assess and summarize candidate strengths, gaps, and requirements
- Organize and facilitate interview debriefs
- Collaborate with Compensation, Talent Programs, and People Analytics to support effective searches
Requirements
3+ years of high-volume and/or sales recruiting experience (in-house or agency)
Experience with traditional and non-traditional recruiting methodologies
Full lifecycle recruiting experience including identification, interview preparation, closing, and compensation negotiation
Ability to assess basic technical abilities and match behavioral traits
Self-starter; motivated; detail- and results-oriented
Strong organizational skills and teamwork
Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels
