Business Functional Analyst

Addax is seeking a Business Functional Analyst for a full-time remote role supporting a mission-driven technology initiative. The role focuses on collaborating with stakeholders and clients to ensure process and data integrity across business systems while working on disruptive product development.

• Lead client-facing discovery sessions including workshops, interviews, and working sessions to identify pain points, goals, constraints, and success criteria
• Document detailed business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and use cases
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for CRM/ERP configuration, integrations, and development in collaboration with Product and Engineering teams
• Own the requirements lifecycle including scope control, prioritization, change requests, and stakeholder alignment
• Support Agile delivery through backlog grooming, sprint planning, UAT coordination, release notes, and go-live readiness
• Act as a bridge between client stakeholders and internal teams ensuring clear communication, timely updates, and expectation management

• Bachelor's degree
• 2+ years of experience as a Business Functional Analyst or Business Analyst with required client-facing experience
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and business-to-technical translation
• Experience with CRM and/or ERP platforms on any modern stack
• Hands-on experience with delivery tools such as Jira, Asana, or ClickUp
• Experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum/Kanban)
• English B2+ proficiency
