Investment Banking Analyst - Generalist

An Elite Boutique investment banking advisory firm headquartered in New York City is seeking an Investment Banking Analyst (Generalist). The role supports transaction execution and client deliverables across M&A, IPOs, and capital raises with significant hands-on deal exposure.

• Support execution of buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions, IPOs, and capital raises across multiple sectors.
• Build and maintain financial models and valuation analyses (DCF, LBO, trading comps, precedent transactions) for live deals and pitches.
• Assist with due diligence by coordinating processes, managing data rooms, and liaising with clients and third-party advisors.
• Prepare pitch books, information memoranda, management presentations, and other marketing materials.
• Conduct industry and company research, market mapping, and strategic analysis across sectors.
• Collaborate with Associates and senior bankers to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.

• 1–3 years of experience in investment banking, transaction advisory, or related financial services.
• Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier institution with strong academic performance.
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and valuation methodologies.
• Strong Excel skills and advanced PowerPoint capability.
• Ability to work as a generalist across multiple industries.
• High attention to detail, strong analytical ability, excellent communication skills, and ability to manage multiple workstreams under tight deadlines.
• Series 79 and Series 63 licenses.
