Summary

Kraft Heinz is hiring a Head of People Operations & Manufacturing Excellence (North America) to lead the People Transformation agenda across the North America Supply Chain.

This role serves as the architect of human capital strategy, integrating operational excellence and continuous improvement methodologies into manufacturing culture to improve workforce capability and performance.

What you'll do

  • Lead the design and execution of a People Capabilities strategy with Global Operations, transforming legacy HR processes into business-focused systems that drive engagement, retention, and performance.
  • Serve as the strategic link between Supply Chain operations and HR, implementing continuous improvement frameworks to improve manufacturing efficiency through people-centric solutions.
  • Act as Master Coach for site leadership and HR Business Partners, facilitating data-driven problem solving and Lean/Six Sigma methods to close performance gaps.
  • Design and implement a holistic talent ecosystem including internal learning platforms, mentorship programs, and high-potential rotational assignments.
  • Partner with global functional owners and digital teams to simplify and standardize people-ops solutions, creating a single source of truth across North American manufacturing sites.
  • Lead large-scale organizational change initiatives aligned to the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and 3-Year Strategic (3YS) goals.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of leadership experience in CPG manufacturing; food/beverage manufacturing experience preferred.

  • Proven HR leadership and transformation experience, including acting as a strategic HR Business Partner and designing/deploying large-scale continuous improvement training programs.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; engineering, human resources, or another technical field preferred.

  • Six Sigma Green Belt (or higher) certification is a nice to have, with demonstrated use of statistical approaches to solve complex operational challenges.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence executive leadership and lead large, decentralized teams through complex transformations.

  • Strong executive presence and stakeholder management skills, able to translate complex HR/technical transformations into business cases and secure site-level cultural buy-in.

Conditions

  • North America scope with travel up to 50% to manufacturing facilities across the US and Canada.
