What you'll do
- Build and improve Python-based tools that support trading, research, and risk analysis
- Work closely with investors and analysts to translate ideas into practical technical solutions
- Develop and maintain data pipelines for financial datasets (e.g., market data, macro data)
- Contribute to analytics tools, backtesting systems, and portfolio monitoring dashboards
- Support improvements to system performance, reliability, and scalability
- Participate in code reviews and adopt best practices from experienced engineers
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in Python development, or recent graduate with strong internships (preferably in finance, banking, or related fields)
- Strong Python skills; familiarity with pandas, NumPy, or similar libraries (preferred)
- Familiarity with APIs, databases (SQL or NoSQL), and/or data processing workflows
- Understanding of core software engineering concepts (e.g., Git/version control, clean code)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Interest in financial markets and an investment-driven environment
- Comfortable collaborating with technical and non-technical teammates
Nice to have:
- Finance experience (e.g., banking, investment banking, hedge fund internships)
- Exposure to data pipelines, analytics tools, or quantitative projects
