Middle Automation QA Engineer

Trinetix is seeking a Middle Automation QA Engineer to join a dynamic, international team working on large-scale enterprise platforms for a leading U.S.-based client in consulting and financial services. The role focuses on designing and implementing end-to-end test automation while contributing to robust, high-tech solutions that drive digital transformation and operational excellence.

• Design, implement, and maintain E2E automated test flows
• Develop comprehensive manual test plans and test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements
• Write and maintain test scenarios using Gherkin and apply BDD practices
• Execute test cases manually and via automation; analyze results and report defects
• Track and manage defects through the lifecycle, coordinating with development teams
• Prepare detailed test reports summarizing results
• Contribute to reusable, scalable automation strategies and continuous QA process improvements
• Identify opportunities to improve testing processes and methodologies
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders across multiple teams and projects

• 2.5+ years of QA experience, including manual and automation testing
• Hands-on experience with end-to-end test automation using Playwright (TypeScript)
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, principles, and frameworks
• Proficiency with task tracking and test management tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar)
• Knowledge of software architecture, including client-server, web applications, and APIs
• Familiarity with browsers capabilities and limitations
• Ability to analyze requirements, identify potential issues, and design effective test cases
• Knowledge of test activities estimation techniques
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Meticulous attention to detail with a strong focus on quality
• Upper-Intermediate English (spoken and written)

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience with API test automation
• Working knowledge of SQL
• Experience with Tricentis Tosca or other no-code automation tools
• Familiarity with automation in large-scale or enterprise environments
• ISTQB certification
• Previous experience in Agile/Scrum teams
