Summary
Trinetix is seeking a Middle Automation QA Engineer to join a dynamic, international team working on large-scale enterprise platforms for a leading U.S.-based client in consulting and financial services. The role focuses on designing and implementing end-to-end test automation while contributing to robust, high-tech solutions that drive digital transformation and operational excellence.
What you'll do
- Design, implement, and maintain E2E automated test flows
- Develop comprehensive manual test plans and test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements
- Write and maintain test scenarios using Gherkin and apply BDD practices
- Execute test cases manually and via automation; analyze results and report defects
- Track and manage defects through the lifecycle, coordinating with development teams
- Prepare detailed test reports summarizing results
- Contribute to reusable, scalable automation strategies and continuous QA process improvements
- Identify opportunities to improve testing processes and methodologies
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders across multiple teams and projects
Requirements
- 2.5+ years of QA experience, including manual and automation testing
- Hands-on experience with end-to-end test automation using Playwright (TypeScript)
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, principles, and frameworks
- Proficiency with task tracking and test management tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar)
- Knowledge of software architecture, including client-server, web applications, and APIs
- Familiarity with browsers capabilities and limitations
- Ability to analyze requirements, identify potential issues, and design effective test cases
- Knowledge of test activities estimation techniques
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Meticulous attention to detail with a strong focus on quality
- Upper-Intermediate English (spoken and written)
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience with API test automation
- Working knowledge of SQL
- Experience with Tricentis Tosca or other no-code automation tools
- Familiarity with automation in large-scale or enterprise environments
- ISTQB certification
- Previous experience in Agile/Scrum teams
