Summary

HireTalent, a staffing and recruiting firm, is seeking an HR Coordinator (ES People Advisor) to support employees and managers through a centralized people services function. The role focuses on delivering customer support, managing HR inquiries, and improving self-service processes using tools like Basecamp and Workday.

What you'll do

  • Provide customer service to employees and managers via the Basecamp customer portal and other social channels.

  • Maintain and improve the knowledge base by creating, updating, and enhancing knowledge articles to support employee self-service.

  • Log, track, and manage employee support cases using a case management tool; respond to inquiries related to benefits, time off, compensation, immigration, HR policy, and employee data.

  • Ensure assigned cases are followed through to resolution and closed accurately and on time.

  • Develop working knowledge of Workday and leverage it to support employee and manager self-service inquiries.

  • Maintain process, program, and policy knowledge to effectively assist employees.

  • Identify process inefficiencies and inconsistencies and collaborate on improvements to enhance the employee/manager experience.

  • Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system enhancements.

  • Process corrections or transactions not handled through Workday self-service.

  • Participate in projects to modernize and improve People Services processes for a seamless employee experience.

Requirements

  • Preferred: 2 years of prior work experience in Human Resources or a centralized customer service environment.

  • Highly desirable: experience with Workday HCM or a similar HRIS.

  • Experience working with a case management system.

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills; strong focus on data integrity, process definition, and continuous learning.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to support employees through personal circumstances with professionalism and empathy.

  • Ability to diagnose problems and lead correction efforts through effective communication and execution.

  • Strong employee experience and customer service orientation.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment with competing priorities.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of job responsibilities.

  • Growth mindset and interest in driving process improvements through technology.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting.

  • Ideal: experience in an HR shared services organization for an established company.

Conditions

  • Location: Hybrid (3 days onsite).

  • Duration: 6-month assignment.
