Solutions Architect (AWS) EMEA Healthcare (IRC278904)

GlobalLogic is seeking a Solutions Architect (AWS) for their EMEA Healthcare Business Unit. This strategic role focuses on engaging clients across the healthcare domain, designing scalable cloud-based solutions, and leading technical discovery and solutioning efforts.

• Engage with prospective and existing clients to understand business needs, technical challenges, and goals within healthcare
• Lead technical discovery sessions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define solution architecture
• Design and present scalable, secure, and cost-effective architecture solutions with focus on cloud technologies and interoperability
• Translate complex healthcare requirements into actionable technical solutions and high-level architecture designs
• Drive proposal development and pre-sales activities, including effort estimation and technical presentations
• Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure smooth transition from pre-sales to execution
• Act as trusted technical advisor to clients on emerging healthcare technologies
• Contribute to architectural governance and best practices within the Architects Team
• Support business development initiatives by identifying opportunities and developing proof of concepts

Mandatory:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science
• At least 10 years of experience in commercial software development
• At least 3+ years in a Software Architect role
• Strong experience with popular cloud platforms (AWS required)
• Strong experience with at least one main enterprise technology stack (.NET, Java, etc.)
• Technical expertise in one or more: technical advisories, application modernization, mobile systems, test automation, regulated medical software (Class B or higher)
• Enterprise-scale technical experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures
• Experience designing cloud-agnostic solutions for Healthcare domain
• Knowledge of Data Solutions Architecture (data pipelines, ETL, data storage, governance)
• Strong architecture diagramming and documentation skills
• Strong verbal and written communication in English (Upper-Intermediate minimum)
• Ability to define solution architecture, make technology decisions, and estimate costs
• Good presentation skills and ability to communicate across business and technology teams

Plus:

• Understanding of enterprise healthcare architectures (EMR/Clinical Systems, telehealth, clinical data warehouses, connected medical devices)
• Knowledge of HIPAA/HITRUST compliance
• Knowledge of medical software standards and FDA guidelines
• Experience with embedded medical devices
• Experience migrating on-premise solutions to cloud
• Knowledge of Cybersecurity and Privacy standards (HIPAA, GDPR, etc.)
• Pre-sales experience
