Product Designer

HIFI is rebuilding the financial plumbing of the internet to make money programmable by default and move value at software speed. The Product Designer will own end-to-end design across core product surfaces, translating complex financial workflows into interfaces that feel clear, fast, and trusted. You will partner closely with engineering and product from discovery through delivery while setting quality and interaction standards.

• Own end-to-end design of core product surfaces including the Developer Dashboard, onboarding, payment flows, and account management
• Build and maintain a scalable design system across web and mobile with consistency and precision
• Translate complex financial workflows into simple, intuitive interfaces
• Conduct user research and usability testing with developers, operators, and enterprise customers
• Partner with engineering and product from discovery through delivery (not downstream)
• Set the visual and interaction standard across all customer-facing surfaces

• 2+ years of product design experience shipping complex products in production
• Portfolio demonstrating systems thinking, clear decisions, and real outcomes
• Strong proficiency in Figma (component libraries, auto-layout, design tokens)
• Comfortable with ambiguity; able to define problems as well as solve them
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to defend decisions without a deck
• Ability to move fast, take feedback well, and balance speed with quality

Nice to have:

• Experience with developer tools, APIs, dashboards, or B2B financial products
• Familiarity with fintech concepts (payments, KYC/KYB, ledgering, stablecoins)
• Basic prototyping or front-end skills to collaborate effectively with engineers
• Early-stage startup experience building a design practice from scratch

• Contract role
• Salary range: $100,000–$130,000 USD annually (base pay varies by location, skills, experience, market, and internal parity)
