Golang Engineer (Chargeback Management Product)

Solidgate is a payments orchestration platform seeking a proactive Go Engineer to join the Chargeback Management Product team. You'll build products that help merchants reduce fraud-related risks and develop the Representment product, saving customers hundreds of thousands of dollars. This high-impact role offers the opportunity to work on financial infrastructure at scale alongside a driven, collaborative team.

• Build the Dispute module: collect data from payment systems and present it clearly to clients
• Launch the Representment module: create interfaces and APIs for merchants to upload evidence and push it to the Schemes
• Integrate with global payment giants: Stripe, Adyen, PayPal
• Roll out new products with Mastercard, Visa, AMEX
• Develop the financial backbone: invoicing, billing, and reconciliation at scale

• 4+ years of backend development experience, primarily with Go
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL
• Proven track record with microservices architecture
• Strong grasp of high-load system design
• Solid test coverage practices: unit, integration, functional, and e2e
• Proactive and results-driven mindset
• Initiative and strong decision-making skills
• Solid understanding of business processes

Nice to have:

• Background in fintech or the financial sector
• Knowledge of Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Familiarity with AWS and modern CI/CD
