Summary
fresh is a global beauty and lifestyle company headquartered in New York, offering skincare, lip care, bodycare, and fragrance across more than a dozen countries. The Production Planner, New Products and POSM is responsible for planning and procurement of finished goods and components and coordinating production at subcontractors to support new launches and POSM. This role is based in Jersey City and reports to the Senior Manager, Planning.
What you'll do
- Plan procurement of finished goods and components using AX MRP to ensure on-time, in-full deliveries to distribution centers for new launches and POSM.
- Maintain fill rates and launch date commitments at or above corporate targets.
- Expedite, defer, and cancel purchase orders to meet fill-rate and inventory-turn requirements.
- Serve as the main contact for a portfolio of vendors and lead weekly calls.
- Review weekly reports and alerts and take action as needed.
- Manage and execute end-of-life (EOL) processes.
- Resolve daily operational challenges by making timely decisions and executing solutions.
- Use BI reporting tools (e.g., QLIK) to keep systems and reporting up to date and support action planning with suppliers.
Requirements
- 1–4 years of experience in planning.
- Excellent knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and make swift, informed decisions.
- Proactive mindset and ability to learn new processes and systems quickly.
- Prior experience in cosmetics or skincare industry.
- Experience in packaging and/or components manufacturing.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with AX (Microsoft Dynamics AX) is a plus.
- Ability to speak/work in French is a plus.
