Summary
The Value Maximizer is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support delivery within wealth management or banking environments. The role focuses on facilitating Agile ceremonies, driving project execution, and managing end-to-end releases aligned with business goals.
What you'll do
- Facilitate Agile Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to improve productivity and continuous improvement
- Lead project planning, tracking, and risk management to ensure timely delivery of milestones within wealth management or banking projects
- Manage end-to-end release planning and execution, emphasizing coordinated delivery and zero-downtime deployments
- Coordinate across product owners, development, QA, operations, and business stakeholders to align priorities and deliverables
- Remove impediments and resolve conflicts to keep sprint and release cycles running smoothly
- Maintain and optimize Agile tooling (e.g., Jira, Confluence, release management tools) for tracking, reporting, and visibility
- Promote Agile best practices and a culture of continuous learning and improvement
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to senior management and stakeholders
- Manage dependencies and collaborate with other teams and external vendors as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or a related field
- Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM) or equivalent Agile certification
- 5+ years of Scrum Master experience, preferably in wealth management, banking, or financial services
- Proven project management and release management experience in a highly regulated financial domain
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and project management tools
- Experience managing large-scale projects, including risk and dependency management
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills
- Desirable: knowledge of wealth management products, banking operations, regulatory environments, and digital banking solutions
- Preferred: hands-on experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools for release automation
- Preferred: familiarity with budgeting, reporting, and financial project controls
- Preferred: experience working with distributed and cross-functional teams
- Preferred: ability to mentor and coach teams on Agile principles and practices
