Learning & Talent Development Specialist Senior - Instructional Design
Summary
PNC is hiring a Senior Learning & Talent Development Specialist focused on instructional design within its Human Resources organization. The role partners with the business to consult, design, develop, and deliver learning solutions that support business outcomes and learner experience. You will lead multiple learning projects end-to-end while collaborating with internal stakeholders, subject matter experts, and vendors.
What you'll do
- Consult with stakeholders to recommend, design, and/or develop learning solutions aligned to business objectives and return on investment (ROI).
- Curate and develop learning deliverables that improve the learner experience using a holistic, cross-functional approach.
- Design, develop, and deliver learning and talent development programs for live audiences, both in-person and virtually (including stand-up instruction as needed).
- Manage learning projects from initiation through implementation, coordinating with peers, subject matter experts, and external vendors.
- Monitor progress and evaluate the effectiveness of learning and talent development strategies, recommending improvements.
- Drive innovation by applying current trends, improving tools, and fostering a growth mindset.
- Support key learning and talent initiatives, processes, and policies in alignment with HR strategy and business outcomes.
- Handle multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree (required).
Experience: Typically 2+ years of relevant professional experience; in lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience (including military service) may be considered.
Core competencies: Training and Development, Instructional Design/Development, Live Instruction, Project Management, Managing Multiple Priorities, Problem Solving, Business Acumen, Accuracy and Attention to Detail.
Collaboration: Ability to build relationships and work effectively with internal partners, SMEs, and vendors.
Certifications/Licenses: No required certifications or licenses.
Conditions
Workplace: In-office company; workplace expectations to be discussed with recruiter/hiring manager.
Visa policy: No employment visa sponsorship; no participation in STEM OPT for this position.
Compensation: Base salary range $45,000–$98,900 annually; incentive eligible based on company/business/individual performance.
