Summary
American Express is hiring a Talent Acquisition Partner to execute its recruitment strategy and deliver qualified, inclusive candidate slates. The role owns end-to-end recruiting operations, partnering closely with Hiring Leaders and cross-functional teams to meet hiring volume and headcount goals.
What you'll do
- Execute the Talent Acquisition recruitment strategy to ensure inclusivity and delivery of qualified talent.
- Use available technologies to improve recruiting efficiency and quality to accomplish delivery plans.
- Partner with Hiring Leaders to gather inputs for candidate slates, provide candidate feedback, and achieve hiring volume and headcount goals.
- Lead and own screening, assessment, interview, and offer process activities.
- Update and post jobs, manage requisitions, and disposition candidates in the ATS.
- Conduct first-round interviews, intake meetings, and interview debriefs.
- Structure and negotiate offers and collaborate with the compensation team to determine appropriate packages.
- Coordinate with recruitment operations, legal, compensation, and other partners throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
- Communicate proactively with candidates about process steps and Hiring Leader feedback.
- Participate in recruitment events and manage colleague referrals.
Requirements
- 3+ years of end-to-end recruitment experience.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn, Indeed).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to partner effectively with cross-functional groups supporting talent acquisition processes.
- Ability to work in a high-volume environment, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize appropriately.
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent).
Conditions
- Salary range: $65,500 to $102,500 annually plus bonus and benefits (pay varies by location, experience, and job-related factors).
