The Project Designer supports multiple architecture/interior design projects from concept through construction, contributing strong conceptual and detail-oriented design thinking to deliver holistic solutions.
What you'll do
- Work on multiple projects of varying types and scales, maintaining strong design quality and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary project teams from concept design through construction.
- Develop construction documents for internal and external review.
- Support construction administration activities as needed.
- Coordinate with consultants and support project coordination efforts.
- Participate in budget review and apply awareness of building codes.
- Support client relations in coordination with the project team.
- Work with furniture vendors to manage processes and deliveries.
- Create and contribute to 3D visualization and design presentations.
- Contribute to in-studio collaboration (pin-ups, workshops, model reviews) and iterative design development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
- 4–8+ years of experience at an architecture or design studio.
- Experience delivering projects from concept design through construction.
- Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Familiarity with project management, construction administration, budget review, building codes, consultant coordination, and client relations.
- Ability to develop construction documents.
- Ability to coordinate with furniture vendors and manage deliveries.
- Proficiency and interest in 3D visualization.
- State licensure or active pursuit of licensure encouraged.
- Collaborative mindset, strong graphic/organizational/communication skills, and willingness to seek mentorship and feedback.
Conditions
- Hybrid work: three days per week onsite in the studio, with additional in-person time as projects demand.
- Not remote; candidates must be local to one of the studios and available onsite regularly.
- Estimated salary range $75,000–$100,000 annually, plus benefits and bonuses.
