Security Engineer

As a Security Engineer, you will lead comprehensive security initiatives, conducting audits and vulnerability assessments to protect company-wide systems and data. • Run security audits to identify security loopholes and opportunities to enhance security strategy effectiveness
• Perform internal vulnerability testing to uncover system weaknesses and implement countermeasures ensuring data integrity
• Identify company-wide security challenges and design solutions to strengthen protection across IT and infrastructure
• Collaborate with privacy experts to develop robust privacy compliance strategies and translate regulations into technical implementations
• Stay current with security trends and threats, sharing knowledge across the company to foster a security-focused culture

• Strong reasoning ability with capacity to solve complex problems from first principles and attention to critical details
• Proven drive with ambitious initiative, effort, and tenacity; high personal standards and accountability
• Team spirit with generosity, reliability, honesty, and transparency in collaborative environments
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Relevant security engineering experience preferred but not required for exceptional candidates

Schedule & Location: Milan-based office with expectation to spend most days in Milan office during first few months; remote work from approved countries available after ramp-up period. Flexible hours supported.
