Real Assets, Associate (Investment Team)

Blue Owl Capital (NYSE: OWL) is a leading alternative asset manager investing across Credit, Real Assets, and GP Strategic Capital. The Real Assets Associate will support originating, structuring, and executing investments while driving due diligence and analysis to support investment committee decisions.

• Partner with senior team members to originate, structure, and execute new investments across the capital structure (including direct lending, preferred equity, loan/portfolio acquisitions, securitized assets, and JV/platform opportunities).
• Conduct due diligence and investment analysis to develop and refine investment theses, including asset-level analysis, market research, deal negotiation, structuring, and financial modeling.
• Develop investment memos and supporting analyses to inform the investment committee decision-making process.
• Support portfolio management and asset allocation across strategies and investment objectives.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier undergraduate program required; graduate degree and/or CFA welcomed but not required.

• Experience: 2–5 years in real estate finance investing (preferably private equity, private credit, family office, hedge fund, investment banking, institutional brokerage, or REIT acquisitions).

• Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills.

• Strong underwriting, structuring ability, and financial modeling aptitude.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities with autonomy and deliver promptly.

• Location: New York City-based position.

• Compensation: Base annual salary range $150,000–$165,000 (actual pay varies by skills/experience/qualifications).
