Private Equity Associate

Stonehenge Partners, an Ohio-based private equity firm focused on middle-market companies, is hiring a Private Equity Associate. The role supports the investment team in evaluating and executing investments through modeling, diligence, and research in a fast-paced environment.

• Build detailed financial models and investment return analyses
• Conduct industry and company research on target companies and sectors
• Execute business due diligence and evaluate target companies
• Prepare due diligence packages incorporating analytics, market research, and background information
• Assist in preparing presentations and investment memorandums for the investment committee
• Monitor portfolio company performance, support quarterly valuations, and assist with add-on acquisitions and related initiatives
• Support business development teams with research on investment opportunities
• Provide oversight and constructive feedback to Analysts and Interns

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• 2-3 years of relevant experience (e.g., private equity, investment banking, commercial banking, business valuation, transaction advisory services, or similar)
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
• Strong understanding of accounting and finance
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects with minimal supervision
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
