Senior Product Designer - Observability & Data Visualization

Responsibilities

Act as the design owner for data visualization at Nebius Platform and Nebius Grafana, establishing best practices and ensuring consistency across all observability experiences.
Work closely with Observabily Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle
Design clear, scalable interfaces for complex cloud and AI infrastructure products
Translate business goals, technical constraints, and user needs into coherent user flows and interaction models
Clearly present design solutions and rationale to cross-functional teams
Contribute to the development and maintenance of the design system, ensuring consistency and quality across the product
Contribute to the design of other Compute services in Nebius Console when needed.

Several years of experience designing data visualizations and dashboards for observability, monitoring, analytics, or similar products.
Deep understanding of data visualization and information visualization principles, including visual hierarchy and selecting appropriate visualization techniques for different use cases.
Strong understanding of metrics, time-series data, and how users interpret and analyze them.
Ability to define and drive best practices for dashboard design and data visualization across the platform.
Ability to balance usability, consistency, and innovation in complex systems.
Solid understanding of the product design process, including discovery, validation, and delivery.
Experience collaborating with designers in a shared product and design system environment.

Familiarity with UX research and usability testing methods
Experience with cloud consoles, or other high-complexity web applications
Ability to communicate effectively with engineers using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript terminology.
