Business Operations Manager
Summary
Apple TV Marketing is hiring a Business Operations Manager to support a highly collaborative marketing organization that builds world-class campaigns for Apple TV. The role reports to the Head of Marketing Operations and focuses on establishing processes, tools, and operational frameworks that improve efficiency and decision-making through actionable, data-driven insights.
What you'll do
Lead and develop a team of program managers/specialists focused on marketing operations and accounts payable workflows and systems.
Mentor team members and support professional growth through clear expectations and shared goals.
Define team purpose, priorities, and performance expectations to cultivate functional excellence.
Identify and prioritize process roadmaps and tooling to address critical organizational challenges and operational goals.
Define best practices for deploying and adopting new workflows and tools; partner with IS&T on change management and governance to drive department-wide efficiency metrics.
Analyze current performance and deliver data-driven insights to prioritize and address operational opportunities.
Manage resourcing and technology solutions to optimize marketing department resources.
Support vendor identification, onboarding, contracting, rate setting, working processes, and ongoing agency performance management with Apple Procurement.
Support budget management and quarterly/annual forecasting, including review, reconciliation, and reporting aligned with procurement and financial policies.
Partner with Marketing Ops leaders and other stakeholders to implement cross-department workflow improvements and new frameworks that increase scale, efficiency, and collaboration.
Requirements
10+ years of program management, project management, strategic operational planning, and/or business operations experience with an emphasis on marketing.
5+ years leading and managing teams (program managers and/or operational teams).
Proven ability to lead operational and technology change in complex organizations and drive cross-functional alignment across marketing, IS&T, finance, procurement, business affairs, and related functions.
Experience in highly analytical environments, defining and leading program management best practices/frameworks, and influencing peer organizations.
Preferred: Marketing background in entertainment, streaming, or culturally driven brands.
Preferred: Expertise in technologies and methodologies for budget management, marketing planning, campaign prioritization, and marketing creative workflows.
Preferred: Strong collaboration, negotiation, stakeholder accountability, escalation and risk management, adaptability, and ability to navigate ambiguity.
Bachelor’s degree.
Conditions
Compensation: base pay range of $146,500–$274,100 per year (varies by skills, qualifications, experience, and location).
