Summary
LA Clippers are hiring a Motion Graphic Designer to join the Creative Services team and support creative initiatives across the organization. The role focuses on conceptualizing, designing, and animating original content for in-game presentation, marketing, partnerships, and digital channels, including Intuit Dome LED displays.
What you'll do
- Create high-quality original static and animated graphics from concept to completion with minimal direction.
- Develop graphics templates and customized designs for internal team use.
- Produce animated motion graphics for Intuit Dome LED displays.
- Collaborate with design, marketing, event presentation, digital, broadcast, and social teams to create custom animations and maintain brand consistency.
- Support brand and marketing objectives and contribute to evolving the team’s visual identity.
- Create sample layouts for complex graphics and animations using sound design principles and independent judgment.
- Design and create promotional and event presentation videos, animations, and graphics.
Requirements
- 2 to 4+ years of professional experience in motion design.
- Expert proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, especially After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Photoshop.
- Strong Adobe Illustrator skills.
- Experience with Cinema 4D or similar 3D software (plus).
- Strong time management and initiative in executing creative projects.
- Passion for visual storytelling with strong design sensibility, typography, and video skills.
- Ability to work independently with little direction; organized and creatively motivated.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills; adaptable across projects and schedules.
- Ability to learn and thrive in a fast-growing, dynamic environment.
- Ability to communicate and interact positively in a diverse, multicultural environment.
Conditions
- Type: Full-time; non-exempt.
- Location: Based in Inglewood, CA.
- Schedule: Flexible availability required, including weeknights, weekends, and holidays (to cover NBA games).
