Summary
Chipotle Mexican Grill is hiring a Regional Human Resources Business Partner to partner with restaurant leadership and help build a high-performing, inclusive culture. The role provides strategic HR guidance across talent and performance management and supports employee relations and compliance to enable business goals.
What you'll do
- Partner with restaurant leadership on performance management and the talent lifecycle to drive performance and culture.
- Coach leaders using quantitative and qualitative insights to implement strategies.
- Identify talent needs and facilitate people planning, succession planning, and talent development plans.
- Champion inclusive, respectful, and safe workplace cultures aligned to Chipotle values.
- Consult on talent and performance processes (mid-year/annual reviews, compensation processes, IDPs, onboarding, PIPs, corrective actions).
- Proactively identify and address employee concerns.
- Partner on employee relations investigations and recommend appropriate actions with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Leadership and People Experience teams (Newport Beach, CA and Columbus, OH) to support one culture.
- Provide feedback to leaders and Centers of Excellence on people programs and processes.
- Partner with regional leadership to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and completion of required training.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
- 5–10 years of Human Resources experience, including 5+ years as an HR Business Partner or progressive HR Manager experience.
- Ability to work autonomously and cross-functionally with remote teams.
- Strong communication, listening, and influencing skills.
- Ability to problem-solve and take action in ambiguous situations.
- Ability to build relationships at all levels, including executives.
- Strong project ownership and delivery for short- and long-term initiatives.
- Sound prioritization, judgment, and decision-making.
- Initiative and ability to act as a change agent.
- Bilingual preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
Conditions
- Base pay range: $103,000–$146,500 annually; eligible for annual cash bonus and equity awards (based on performance and other factors).
