Summary
Luster National is hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist to source, attract, and hire talent supporting infrastructure consulting programs and project-based initiatives. The role partners with hiring managers to deliver full-cycle recruiting across positions such as inspectors, engineers, and project managers. Success requires proactive direct sourcing, strong documentation discipline, and high-quality, process-driven recruiting aligned with ISO 9001:2015.
What you'll do
- Conduct full lifecycle recruiting for roles supporting engineering, infrastructure, construction, program-based environments, and internal organizational roles as needed
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and coordinate project-based recruiting activities
- Source and engage qualified candidates using targeted search strategies, professional networks, referrals, and industry-specific channels
- Coordinate job posting development, candidate screening, interview scheduling, candidate evaluation support, and offer coordination
- Build and maintain candidate pipelines for current and anticipated staffing needs
- Maintain accurate, organized records in recruiting platforms (ATS and sourcing tools)
- Track recruiting activity and metrics to support reporting and visibility into hiring progress
- Represent the organization at career fairs, recruiting events, webinars, and other outreach activities
- Stay current on employment laws, recruiting best practices, and industry trends
- Identify and implement process improvements and technology opportunities to increase recruiting efficiency
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, project management, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 8+ years of experience as a recruiter/talent acquisition specialist in engineering, infrastructure, construction, or other program-based environments
- Proven direct sourcing experience beyond reliance on inbound applicants or job postings
- Experience interviewing candidates and evaluating against defined requirements and hiring leader expectations
- Experience applying structured screening and evaluation methods (qualifications, technical alignment, overall fit)
- Experience using recruiting data and activity metrics to guide sourcing efforts and improve outcomes
- Experience maintaining detailed documentation in an ATS (preferred: Greenhouse)
- Proficiency with ATS tools, Office 365, MS Teams, and MS SharePoint
- Preferred: CIR, ACIR, or other recognized sourcing certification
