Senior Network Operations Engineer

Playtech is seeking a Senior Network Operations Engineer to join their Infrastructure team. In this role, you will manage critical networking components, maintain firewall rules, configure load-balancer logic, and participate in infrastructure R&D projects across 34 data centers in 20 countries.

• Manage and support critical networking components to ensure uninterrupted service
• Maintain firewall rules and configure load-balancer business logic with team guidance
• Participate in infrastructure-focused R&D projects that push boundaries
• Develop automation tools to optimize processes
• Take on on-call duties to ensure network infrastructure remains operational 24/7
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients on network infrastructure solutions

• Extensive experience building and maintaining robust network infrastructures
• Hands-on expertise with firewalls, load balancers, switches, routers, and DDoS mitigation solutions
• Experience with CheckPoint, F5, Juniper, or Cisco (preferred)
• Strong scripting, automation, and orchestration skills
• Problem-solving abilities and creative engineering approach
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks
• Polished English communication skills
• Familiarity with cloud networking concepts and public cloud platforms like AWS (bonus)
