Trainee Test Automation (Python) Engineer

GlobalLogic is seeking a Trainee Test Automation Engineer with Python experience to work on automating UI tools and APIs for a leading US Broadcasting company providing OTT media entertainment services.

• Design and build automated tests for UI tools and APIs
• Create comprehensive test documentation
• Manage test datasets to ensure automated tests are reproducible
• Work closely with customers to understand requirements and address end-user issues
• Troubleshoot framework, CI, and environment issues
• Execute manual and automated tests, perform regression testing, analyze results, and report bugs
• Collaborate with development teams to understand features and provide quality suggestions
• Develop test plans based on team requirements

• Basic test automation experience
• Basic Python programming skills
• Knowledge of web browsers and browser developer tools
• Understanding of RESTful services (HTTP, JSON)
• Experience with API level verification
• Experience developing test cases and end-to-end tests for web applications
• Familiarity with Jenkins and Git
• Understanding of QA and Test Automation methodology
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• AWS and cloud systems knowledge (preferred)
